”Into the Wilderness”

I love The Book of Shemot (Exodus) especially the beginning chapters as there are so many aspects of my life experience that identify with bondage and slavery and a great desire to be set free. However the thing we don’t often realise is that there is a set process to ‘’Salvation’’ from Mitzrayim (Egypt/The World) that has been set out in YHVH’s Word. Now I am not saying that some people will never have a different experience then what has been set out in Torah (Gen-Deut,) for sure some will walk a slightly different path, however I believe that for the majority of us, we will follow a very similar path to liberation as that experienced by our ancient Israelite ancestors.

For most of us as soon as we hear the words ‘’pack up, pharaoh has allowed us to leave!’’ we get all excited and have visions and expectations of Abba sending a one way, first class air ticket to the promised land! But is this the process set out for us in His Word? The truth is, when YHVH called out His Bride he sent her into the wilderness! And not just any wilderness this is how YHVH (The LORD) describes it.

Deut 8:15 “He led you through the ‘’great and terrible wilderness,’’ with its ‘’fiery serpents’’ and ‘’scorpions’’ and ‘’thirsty ground’’ where there was no water;

That doesn’t sound like a great place to take your Bride or Future Bride to, yet this is what YHVH(The LORD) did, and promised HE would do for His Bride corporately and I believe individually, is there any Scripture text to support this idea?

We have the Prophet Jeremiah give us this witness of the ‘’Salvation’’ process of The Bride in the end days, which will be an even Greater Exodus then the one experienced coming out of Egypt.

Jer 16:14“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares YHVH (the LORD), when it shall no longer be said, ‘As YHVH (the LORD) lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ 15 but ‘As YHVH (the LORD) lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers.

We also have the Prophet Hosea give this witness regarding the ‘’Salvation’’ process of the Bride.

Hos 2:14 “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the ‘’wilderness,’’ and speak tenderly to her.

Once again though I believe these texts will play out physically in the future ‘’Salvation’’ of The Bride aka Israel (Natural born aka Jews and former Gentiles adopted by faith) I also believe that individually we will experience this same process as Abba ‘’saves’’ us from the world.

This is the crux of the matter, we need to always remember the purpose for YHVH (The LORD) calling us into the “Wilderness.” The Hebrew for the word wilderness is “Midbar” which amazingly also means “Mouth” “Words” and “Speech”…… WOW…… Imagine that!

What is the lesson to be learnt?

It is only when we are in ‘’the Wilderness,’’ that great and terrifying place, that we are able to and are willing to ‘’hear’’ and ‘’receive’’ YHVH’s (The LORD’s) Words! This is the set out ‘’purification’’ process of The Bride. This is the Great Washing and Cleansing of The Bride. It is in the wilderness that YHVH’s (The LORD’s) Word, His Midbar (Wilderness) cleans, unites, solidifies and empowers in us all that is of obedience and therefore pleasing to Him, and it is The Wilderness, His Word that all of our rebellion and therefore what is displeasing to Him is washed, cleaned out and destroyed!

Therefore ‘’Shema Israel!’’

If you find yourself or part of yourself/life in a Great and Terrifying Wilderness, This is The Message to you!

Chazak V’Emats (Be Strong and Courageous)!

Follow the voice of The Good Shepherd, submerge yourself with all your Heart, Soul and Strength into His WORD!

There he will provide WATER from the flinty rock for your purification! HaleluYah!

This is my prayer for you and for me, may we follow Messiah into the wilderness may we TRUST Him and let everything die that needs to die and may He wash us clean!

Ephesians 5:26-27 (NKJV) 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word(wilderness), 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish(obedient).

HalleluYAH!

I have been here for a while, and I don’t want this to be a 40 year processes. Abba Slicha (forgive me), I am done with my rebellion!

To You Mighty YHVH (LORD) Elohim (God), I freely submit my everything, please submerge me and wash me in your Word!

Selah.
